Barf. That is all I can describe what is going on with my body. I want to throw up but my stomach is fine. My entire body wants to throw up and pass out. I didn't anticipate feeling this way post work-out but I am now without any regrets, of course. This morning we cycled for a solid 60 minutes. The intensity however was so high that I perspired like never before. I soaked my towel as I cleaned off the sweat and was surprised to see my heart rate between 140 and 150 throughout- give or take the few water breaks and thoughts of passing out.
I looked at my heart rate monitor to see how many calories I burnt. I don't know if my Polar watch is malfunctioning but I don't believe I burnt 325 calories. I just can't see that as possible considering this was the hardest work-out thus far. If in fact I am only burning that amount, I think I can write that I am reptilian on my Census form. Really?
I am giving my body a break right now as I am typing. I wonder if I should eat more, sleep, drink more water, or resume cleaning my apartment. I expect old schoolmates this afternoon and I don't want to expose them to a pigpen apartment (come on people, I wake up at 4:30 and leave at 5:05 AM- when do I have time to clean?). I have no idea how I will survive going out tonight considering I am miserable at 10:00 PM. Hopefully I can muster myself as I do when I train with Full Throttle. I will let you know if I fall asleep at the bar.
