The Metabolife Triathlon Blog
The video is up! And honestly, I have no idea how these will be picked. I told my trainer what I was up to. He asked the obvious, but surprising question…are you going to do it anyway, even if you don’t get picked? I hadn’t really considered it, but it seems a little lame to only be willing to do a triathlon if I get picked by CNN. In fact, my ego is probably more inclined to get motivated by doing it even if I don’t get picked. So…there it is. No matter what, I am doing a triathlon in 2010. Nice. I started downloading a bunch of training programs online for me to look at with my trainer. There are a few for sprint races that range from 10-16 weeks for training. But, most say you should be able to run, bike and swim for minimum amounts of time, which I can’t do yet. The New York Triathlon isn’t until July, so that gives me time to build up to the minimums and then do training.
